During the past 15 years we’ve had the pleasure of talking with many nice folks we’ve never even personally met…one such gentleman is Jon B., our newest friend from Fairport, NY….at 88 Jon decided to reduce his inventory of collectibles, choosing to give up his license plates instead of his personally restored MIG fighter jet…it is shown here during a landing at the Oshkosh Air Show in 2016…while Jon doesn’t fly it, he still gets to complain that it only takes $3,000 of fuel to fill it up!…we arranged to help top off the tank by buying Jon’s collection of near-mint 178 plates a few weeks ago…some great NY and ME porcelains, too…a very articulate and personable individual who, like yours truly, enjoys the love and support of his patient and tolerant wife!…stay young Jon!
