One of the many benefits of license plate collecting is meeting incredibly nice people from all over the world…in this case, we just met Frederic Gergaud from Burgundy, France at our home and GAP ‘office’ in Lakeland, Florida…Fred is vacationing on our Gulf Coast beaches and begged permission from his wife and family to pay us a visit!…Fred and his dad, Jean Pierre from Saran, France have been good customers and collector friends of ours for some time, so it was a sincere treat to meet Fred in person…his specialty is aviation plates and Volkswagen’s, too!…as my wife Karen is an admitted Francophile, she now sees the benefits of this international business (not yet Fortune 500!) as Fred generously treated her to a bottle of French wine!!…merci Fred and Jean Pierre!
