…my wife and I live in a home here in Central Florida that was built in 1925…as most older homes in Florida, it is raised off the ground to allow for air circulation for cooling…when we bought it, I decided to crawl under it and see what ‘treasures’ I could find!…a lot of contractor trash, dead animal carcasses, some living animal nesting places, an old abandoned oil heater, some chicken wire from the old coop, and a lot of cast iron piping…as I looked more closely, I noticed a plumber had apparently used an old license plate as a flashing to get a better seal on the floor decking…and to my further surprise and as a self-interpreted sign from above, it is a 1931 Florida plate, of the year of my first personal collection!!…my wife thought it was a sign I should visit my therapist…
